Next to using your eye socket, the Mine Train Spike Bottle Opener is the most badarse way to open a beer. Forged by hand from a spike used on the railways of mine trains, this keychain-sized shaft of steel is designed for the sole purpose of making you look awesome while opening a beer.

After heating it to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit, the blacksmith splits the end of the spike into a bottle-popping claw and then twists the handle to create its distinctive spiral design. After a hole is punched for the included keyring, a coating of beeswax is added for protection and a stroke of color. Made in the USA.

This unique bottle opener is forged by hand from the spikes of mine trains.

Every Mine Train Spike Bottle Opener is forged by hand. A skilled blacksmith heats the steel spike to 2000°F and then uses hammers, chisels, and a few specially-designed tools to turn a boring old spike into a keychain-sized beer-opening device. Pure awesome.
