Warhol would approve
Andy Warhol loved his subject matter (he claims to have eaten Campbell's Soup every day for lunch), but the evolution of his style revolved around removing telltale signs of the handmade from his works.
For his paintings, his assistants were given explicit instructions on how to silkscreen his images. And for his drawings, he would trace slide projections.
Paradoxically, he used rudimentary mass-production methods in order to remove the "artist's hand", but still craved the error-prone nature of these processes. He seemed to be searching for a personal way to show his affection for mass-produced images of the icons of his generation.
So, we think Mr. Warhol would approve of this half-manufactured and half-handmade "process" of reproducing his art.
Even the packaging looks like a can of soup!
Each puzzle comes in a stackable can adorned with the image you'll be creating. The jigsaw pieces themselves are made of 90% recycled paper and the packaging is made of 70% recycled paper.
Choose from two of Warhol's iconic images: Pink/Red Tomato Soup and Blue/Green Tomato Soup. Both images are from a 1965 series.
