Bru-Bag
Lawn game that combines beer pong and cornhole.
Overview
When you’re choosing which game to bring out at your next party, don’t settle on just one; start playing Bru-Bag to get the fun of two classic games at the same time.
While this outdoor game feels like classic bean bag tossing, the rules have a decidedly beer pong twist (without the dirty beer chugging).
Instead of throwing at just one hole in the board, you and a partner aim at six separate openings. Every time you sink a bag, that space is removed from the game by covering it with a wooden lid until you close out your opponent’s board to win the game.
This accessible, intuitive game can liven up any outdoor party (even a reunion with the weird side of the family).

Classic collab
If beer pong and cornhole had a baby that succeeded despite the immense pressure it felt to live up to its parents’ legacies, that baby would grow up to be Bru-Bag. Borrowing elements from both popular activities, this outdoor game is familiar enough to be accessible and different enough to feel fresh.
Like in cornhole, your aim is to throw bean bags into holes on a wooden board; like in beer pong, each successful shot removes a space from the board. The game incorporates other classic beer pong rules as well, like reracks, redemption shots, and bonuses for hitting the same spot as your partner.
Simply fun
Like any good party game, you can start playing Bru-Bag with quick setup and minimal explanation. The only assembly needed is to slot in each board’s two wooden legs into place by hand.
Instead of trying to reach a certain point total, Bru-Bag is much more straightforward: hit every hole to win. With no mental scorekeeping required, you can casually play while conversing with the rest of the party (or focusing on your trash talk).
Porta-party
Unless you’re intensely training to pursue your dream as a professional Bru-Bag player, you probably don’t need to keep your set out all the time. When you’re between parties, you can easily pack up Bru-Bag for convenient storage and quick portability.
The legs remove with a simple twist and fit, along with the other equipment, into the included drawstring bag. With the whole set weighing less than 20 pounds, you can easily take your game to the next party.
The good stuff
The Bru-Bag set includes the boards, legs, hole covers, carrying bag, and rules you need to get playing.
The American-made game uses high grade, durable wood for the boards and double stitched duck cloth for the bags to ensure your set will last for all of tomorrow’s parties.
Frequently Asked Questions
Questions: Are there other fun ways to play Bru-Bag?
Answer: Absolutely! We came up with the idea of “Dare Pong” (video below) and we’re sure you can get even more creative!
Question: Does the other team drink every time you make a shot?
Answer: Although it borrows gameplay elements from beer pong, there are no drinking penalties in the Bru-Bag rules. Now, that’s not stopping you from adding your own if that’s your thing.
Question: Why are there only two bags?
Answer: Because that’s all you need! In Bru-Bag, you and your partner toss at the same board and in the same round. You each get one throw per round so make it count!
