Overview

There’s a bug in the kitchen! Quick, trap it!

With a robotic bug running amok, you’ve got to be the first to trap it to win. As the robo-roach (from HEXBUG) scurries around the maze-like game board, roll the dice to determine if you’re going to move one of the gates shaped like a fork, knife, or spoon.

Choose the right switch to divert the bug into your trap, gaining a coin and getting you one step closer to victory! However, this buzzing bug's movements are quite unpredictable, so be prepared to make quick adjustments. Recommended for ages 6+.

Play with pests

When you play Bugs in the Kitchen, you’ve got to hurry to catch that scurrying bug. In this frenzied family game, the robotic roach’s vibrations cause it to wildly scamper across the board.

Your job is to open or close the silverware-themed gates to direct the bug's movement toward your trap and away from your opponents’. The frenetic nature of the bug’s scattered movements makes each turn fast-paced and exciting.

Corral the cockroach to clinch victory.

Jitterbug

Start the game by releasing your bug ‘bot on the game surface. It will randomly run around, redirecting itself as it hits the barriers made by the utensils.

Next, roll the die to determine what type of gate—fork, knife, or spoon—you can twist. Choose a gate that matches the utensil type, quickly rotate it, and hope that the roach will run where you want it to before the next player can redirect it. Be fast, clever, and lucky, and you just might win!

Release the bug, roll the die, turn a utensil, and try to corral the bug!

Switch up your game

Due to the unpredictable movements of the Hexbug, every round of Bugs in the Kitchen is unique. However, you can further mix things up by choosing from four different starting configurations for the board. With so much variety, you’ll never tire of cleaning up the kitchen.
