Liquid Glass Thinking Putty is almost imperceptible at rest. So much so, in fact, that many people believe the tin is empty at first! However, once you start playing with it, the putty begins to cloud.

What happends if i combine two putties???
It depends on the type of putty in question. If they're both the same type, you'll just end up with a larger blob. If you try to mix Super Illusions or Liquid Glass Putty with Magnetic Thinking Putty, you'll ruin both.
I've had this putty before, and I warn you DON'T drop it. Especially if you have a dog that sheds. I had to pitch it because it was so dirty. Great product, but be careful. (This is a warning to all you potential buyers.)
This is very true and applies to all of our Thinking Putties. The dirtier your hands or surfaces are, the dirtier your putty will become.
If there is a big pool of liquid thinking putty,can swim in it ?Since puttys are slow moving liquid.

Air. When kneaded, tiny air bubbles get trapped in the putty, giving it a cloudy appearance.

1. Not unless you are losing pieces of it. The putty does not evaporate. 2. No, Thinking Putty does not evaporate. 3. By picking the dirt out with your fingers. It's best to simply not get it dirty in the first place by washing your hands and only playing on clean surfaces.
Can you put food coloring in it to change color, if so then you might as well make it green and call it "flubber"
Adding dye or color will just make an enormous mess since the dye will come off on everything the putty touches.

Yes. It will take several days for all the bubbles to work their way out.

Kneading, not throwing, is what causes it to turn cloudy. If you threw it without making the putty fold in on itself, it would stay clear.

We do not recommend attempting to wash any Thinking Putty. Water can and will ruin your putty.

None of Thinking Putties will stain surfaces.

In your case it's likely just soft rather than melted. Stick it in the fridge for about an hour or so and it will be good as new.

All of our Thinking Putties are definitely much closer to being soft blobs of rubber than anything else. I think some people expect them to be more like slime, which is definitely not the case.

Because the putty is clear and the background behind it is blue. It's the same reason why your windows are the same color as the world beyond them.

No. Putty will not absorb food coloring, so the only thing you'll accomplish is getting food coloring on everything it touches.

Probably not. Your freezer likely isn't cold enough to freeze something to that degree.
Can you clean it when it gets dirty?
No you cannot, so the best thing to do is avoid getting it dirty in the first place by making sure that your hands and playing surface are as clean as possible. Attempting to wash your putty will only ruin it. Keep in mind that the putty is transparent and will show every bit of dirt, sweat, and other pollutants that it comes into contact with.

I bought this putty a couple weeks ago and the putty isn't the same texture as other crazy Aarons thinking putty and it won't tear. What should I do?
Every putty is a little different. With the Liquid Glass you have to use a lot of strength and tear it very quickly for it to tear because it's a lot softer than the other putties.

A little bit of water will not hurt your putty, but getting it wet can cause irreversible damage. The cloudiness can sometimes take several days to go away completely.

It will clear up eventually, but it may take several days. The tiniest bubbles might not have enough lift to work themselves out of the putty.

I bought a tin and the putty is really hard to squeeze. It's harder than the magnetic putty. I have even been playing with the liquid glass to warm it up. Is there something i am doing wrong, or do i just have a bad batch?
It will become less firm the more you play with it. All putties are stiff right out of the can.

You'll just have to wait. Think about how thick the putty is. Now think about how much "lift" the tiniest bubbles have. Some of the smallest bubbles might not have the strength to push their way through the putty, at least not very quickly.

It's not quite as dramatic. Those traits really are exclusive to the Super Illusions putty.

Because you're trapping air in it when you fold and knead the putty. It can take a few days for all the bubbles to work their way out.

We're not the manufacturer but we assume that it's made the same way as all of the other putties we carry. The only difference is that this one does not have any pigment added to it.

Only if you let it. The putty is capable of settling into fibers and porous materials, so as long as you don't let it you will be fine.

What would happen if you used food coloring?
You'd make a giant mess. The food coloring wouldn't dry properly and would be deposited onto everything the putty touches. We have plenty of colorful putties to choose from, so if you want colors we recommend going with one of those instead.
Why do little flakes come off of my putty and why does it tear so easily?
That's simply due to the elastic nature of the putty. There's nothing unusual about little flecks coming off when the putty is torn.

Sadly no there isn't. The most you can do is avoid getting it dirty in the first place. One of the problems with a product being completely transparent is that it will show every bit of filth that it picks up.

No. You want to make sure your hands are clean, not just disinfected. Your putty is going to pick up EVERYTHING on your hands, including dead skin and dirt, and hand sanitizer alone won't get them clean.

What you're asking is if the product is toxic or not, to which the answer is no. You will not get sick if you don't wash your hands after playing with any of the Thinking Putties.

You can't wash putty because the water will ruin it. We suggest doing everything you can to not get it dirty in the first place because your only option would be to pick the dirt out by hand.

It's possibly that the dirt and oil from your hands is staining the putty. Sadly there is nothing that can be done about this.

The cloudiness is due largely to the inclusion of air bubbles and the skewing of the molecules inside the putty.

The cloudy appearance happens when small air bubbles get trapped in the putty. If you let it sit until the bubbles go away, it will turn clear again.

Worse, it can dilute it. There's no reason to get Thinking Putty wet and actually should be avoided if possible.
If this was laying in the sun would it melt?
Technically it's already a fluid, so it can't really "melt." Heating it up will make the putty softer, but as it cools it will become firm again.

Not entirely. You can help prevent it by making sure your hands and playing area are as clean as possible though.

Not really. All putties are somewhat bouncy, especially the Magnetic Thinking Putty because of how firm it is, but they're not so bouncy that you can use them the same way as a rubber ball.

Not if you leave it in the tin, no. Putties do not have expiration dates.
Can you add food coloring to the putty?
You can but it will just make a giant mess. The putty isn't capable of fully absorbing the food coloring so what would happen is you would get food coloring on everything it touched.

You need to understand that some of the tiniest bubbles simply don't have the strength to push their way out of the putty on their own. A lot of people ask about this and very few of them take into consideration just how thick the putty actually is.
It's not at all unusual for the really tiny bubbles to take several days to work their way out. The only way to speed this up is to gently warm the putty and thereby soften it. You can do this by leaving the putty someplace warm (NOT HOT) such as direct sunlight or outside on a summer day.

Apart from being perfectly clear? Well, for one the textures are completely different because they are made from different materials. While Silly Putty feels like chewed gum, Thinking Putty feels more like soft rubber.

By waiting. It can take several days for some of the smaller ones to work their way out. Some people have reported some success with warming the putty, but if you're going to do that you MUST leave it in the tin and do NOT use high heat. We're talking body temperature levels of heat.

A little bit of water will just bead up on the surface, but completely submerging your putty in water or kneading water into it is a bad idea. You should avoid getting your putty wet in general, as too much water will ruin it.

Each tin contains 1/5 of a pound, right? So 5 tins equals 1 pound. In the video we say that the tub contained 500 lbs, so 5 x 500 = 2,500.

The only thing you'll accomplish is the dilution of the other putty. Mixing putties is not like mixing paint -- it does not yield a new putty or one with the properties of both. It only makes them inseparable.

No, it is not plasmium gel. That's a completely different material. This is more like silly putty.

Absolutely! We are very careful to ensure that your order is packaged in such a way so as to prevent that sort of thing from happening. That being said, it should be noted that Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty is incapable of drying out. There are people who purchase it expecting it to be a runny slime, which it is not. While some are softer than others, Thinking Putties are stuff and rubbery by their very nature.

As we've mentioned before, mixing water into your putty will dilute it. This means that it will become slimy and fall apart.

Liquid Glass Putty is, as its name implies, completely transparent, meaning that it will show every bit of dirt and filth that it comes into contact with. So it doesn't get dirty easier than any other putty but it will also be unable to hide any dirt that it does collect.

Currently the US dollar is worth a little more than the Canadian dollar, so yes, there will be a difference between what you see on the site and what is charged to your card once the exchange rate is figured in.
Can you put it in washing machine if it is stuck on clothes?
The manufacturer recommends using rubbing alcohol (the greatest percent isopropyl alcohol you can find - 99% is ideal) from the drugstore. Some people will purchase antiseptic ethyl rubbing alcohol. This is NOT effective. For fabric, spot test first. If safe, liberally pour the rubbing alcohol onto the putty and use the flat part of a credit card or back of a butter knife to get the bigger pieces off. Then apply more alcohol and rub the area with a washcloth until nothing remains. This may take several applications but the alcohol will dissolve the putty and help release it from the fabric.

I had just got Liquid glass thinking putty and it doesn't seam to feel the same as other Crazy Aarons putty. I checked out my friends liquid glass putty and mine doesn't seam to stretch as well as hers, and mine it tears WAY too easily. Can I fix it?
Liquid Glass Putty varies a little from batch to batch, but generally speaking it is much different from other Thinking Putties in terms of texture, stretchiness, and stickiness.

Putties are not slimes, so they do not make any noise when you poke them.

We can't say for sure since we've never used it for such a thing. Keep in mind that Thinking Putty is pretty thick, so you wouldn't really be able to "inject" it into much of anything.

We purchased it directly from the manufacturer. It was NOT cheap. They were willing to oblige us for the sake of the video and publicity, but giant barrels of putty are not typically available to the public.

Nothing would happen. You'd just have three tins of putty combined into one. Like Play-Doh or any other clay, you would never be able to separate them ever again.

Maybe someday! Adding dye will just cause the dye to get everywhere and stain everything the putty touched.

Not really. The only putties that feel different are the Magnetic Thinking Putties. Those are much stiffer because they're loaded with thousands of tiny iron filings.

Eventually. Water will dilute your putty, making it runny and gross. There's really no reason to introduce water to your Thinking Putty.
I bought this stuff at a shop in Sedalia called Reader's World, and it took me an hour to get the top off because it had gotten in between the lid and container. Don't store this stuff on its side! It'll make it difficult and messy to open!
The trick is to twist the lid. This softens and eventually detaches the putty from the inside of the lid, making it easier to remove.

Liquid Glass Thinking Putty is a lot softer than some of the other putties, such as the Magnetic Thinking Putties. Try using a smaller amount so that the weight of the ball doesn't cause it to deform on impact.
