Question: Shouldn't the stapler be white?
Answer: Perhaps, but I doubt you want things to end as poorly for your office as they did for Ahab. So, we think the mostly black coloring (the anvil is a bright white) is a good compromise. Our other assumption is that the manufacturer knew the stapler would get a lot of use and black hides dirt quite well.
Question: What kind of staples does it use?
Answer: The Moby Stapler uses standard mini staples (no. 10). You can pick them up at any office supply store. The Moby Stapler does not come preloaded with staples.
