Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Since they're waterproof, can you light a fire under water?
Answer: Even though the match will smolder, kindling won't burn underwater, so starting a fire isn't going to happen. You can submerge the lit match, bring it above the surface, and then light something with the still-burning match though!
Question: What if you want to put them out?
Answer: These matches are specifically designed to not go out, but after about 15 seconds the fuel will burn and they will self-extinguish.
