Overview

This Seahorse will swim realistically in your pool. It's balanced so that it's head will always stay above water as its rear dorsal fin motors him around the pool.

Adding a Swimways Seahorse to your pool is much cheaper and easier than adding a real Seahorse. That's because many real seahorses are transparent. So, that wouldn't be too much fun.

Seahorses...Did You Know?

Seahorses are one of only two species where the male gets pregnant. That really has little to do with these cool toys, but it's pretty interesting, so we figured we'd pass it along.

Also, Seahorses typically have fins on either side of their head in addition to their larger dorsal fin. I think the guys at Swimways decided to include large eyelashes instead of fins growing out of their heads. Probably a wise choice.

The Seahorse balances itself and swims upright

Like many of the Swimways Rainbow Reef toys, the Seahorse, when tossed into the pool, fills up with water and balances itself. In fact, its head remains above water and its rear dorsal fin flutters back and forth to move this guy around the pool. Obviously, the Seahorse isn't going to beat the shark or dolphin in a speed test, but they're still pretty unique and fun. They may be slightly faster than the turtle, but you may just have to buy both and see!
