When it comes to water marbles, there’s a new kid on the block… and it’s an actual block. Vat19 Qubes are squishy toys with six sides of fun.

Similar to our popular Spitballs, these impressive playthings start as tiny granules but grow 100s of times their original size after being soaked in water. Once full-grown, they become jiggly, squishy colored cubes for your playing pleasure.

Each pack includes three different colors of Qubes, and you can even soak different colors at the same time to create new hues! And since they’re reusable, you’ll find new ways to play with your crazy Qubes!
  • Tiny water beads that grow into cube-shaped squishy toys
  • Includes three colors: red, yellow, and blue
  • Combine to make new colors!
  • Reusable
  • Includes science-based experiment ideas with educational information
  • Safe and non-toxic
  • Approximately 175 qubes per pack (sold by weight, however)
  • Net Wt.: 1.06 oz (30 g)
  • Made in the USA

Fun3

Much like the spelling of their name, Qubes aren’t exactly what you would expect. They start as tiny, dense square beads and grow into jiggly toys.

In addition to the three colors of Qubes, each pack includes ideas for experiments to test the properties of these interesting toys. Try soaking them for different amounts of time to observe the effect on size, test how different liquids affects their consistency, and see which shades you can make by soaking the colors together. With so much fun to be had, these cubes are anything but square.

Qubes grow 100s of times their size!

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: How big do they get?

Answer: The exact hydrated size of Qubes depends on how long you let them soak in water, but you can expect your Qubes to be approximately an inch long on each side.

Question: How do I make new colors?

Answer: If you let different colors of Qubes soak together for long enough, they will eventually mix pigments and turn into entirely new colors!
